Fiber content
IEH Warren Analytical · WAL-363878Measured by AOAC 2011.25, the method that captures low molecular weight soluble fiber. Older methods miss most of it. Insoluble fiber came back below the detection limit, so this lot is effectively all soluble fiber, the kind that dissolves clear and ferments slowly.

Cadmium and mercury came back below the laboratory's limit of detection. Lead and arsenic were detected at trace levels and are reported as measured rather than rounded away.

What we test, and why
- Fiber content
- The label says 10 grams. This is how we confirm the powder in the bag actually contains it. Assay varies lot to lot, so the fill weight is set against the result, not the other way around.
- Heavy metals
- Guar is an agricultural crop, and agricultural crops pick up what is in the soil. Lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury are the four worth measuring every time.
- Microbial
- Standard safety panel for a dry powder: total plate count, yeast and mold, and two pathogens tested for absence rather than counted.
- Every lot
- Not the first production run, not a representative sample, not once a year. Every lot that ships has a report with its own number, and it goes on this page.
